The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has officially announced the welcoming home of his 6th and abroad-based wife, Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda.
According to reports, his new queen, Olori Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, will hold a Thanksgiving ceremony and celebration on May 20, 2023. The palace is said to have sent invitations to members of the royal family and other important guests.
The first-class Yoruba monarch is reported to have married Elizabeth in 2022, she had been abroad but would be officially welcomed to the palace on Saturday.


Speaking to Channels Television in a phone conversation, the palace spokesman, Moses Olafare says that Dr. Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda has been Ooni’s wife since last year, and there is nothing like the newest wife. The ceremony took place “right after Olori Mariam’s wedding last year,” Olafare added.
The king, Oba Ogunwusi is already married to five other women namely; Olori Mariam, Olori Tobi, Olori Ashley, Olori Ronke and Olori Temitope.
He was also married to Queen Naomi Silekunola, but she filed for divorce from him in December 2021. They were married for three years and had a son together named Tadenikawo.
