Tribute: Wizkid changes Instagram profile pic to late mum’s

Celebrated Nigerian singer, Wizkid has now changed his Instagram profile picture to that of his late mum few weeks after her passing.

The Afrobeats icon who had not publicly reacted to the death of his mother since the news broke out in August replaced his dp with an adorable picture of his mum today, October 1st as Nigerias celebrates independenceday. Mrs Balogun reportedly died on the …of August, 2023.

He also updated his bio to include a heartbreak emoji 💔 and his popularized flying hawk emoji.
