Highly celebrated Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has refuted all claims alleging that she is a billionaire. Even though the latest movie released by the actress ‘A Tribe called Judah’ raked in over a billion naira at the box office, she says she is not as rich as people thought.
This is coming after a few of her fans reacted to her recent post on Thread. Funke shared some adorable new pictures with fam’s her and captioned it “Happy girls rock”
While some of her fans revealed their desire to get a chance to meet with the Nollywood Starr, others expressed their love for her and her look. However, one fan commented on her caption and said “especially when the girl is a billionaire like you“. This may have prompted the hardworking actress to immediately deny that she is a billionaire.
She wrote: “Thanks dear. I’m not a billionaire o!!”
she also mentioned that even though her recent movie a tribe called Judah grossed over a billion naira she did not take the billion home.
She wrote: “My movie A Tribe called Judah grossed over a billion naira but I didn’t take the billion home o!! I be confirmed hustler.“
