The celebrated Nigerian actor popularly known for his funny memes and how he pronounced his letter “Sh”, has tragically passed away after he was said to have fallen down in the bathroom of his home. Unconfirmed reports say he slipped on the tiles and hit his head.
His house where he lives and reportedly died in was said to have been given to him by the Lagos State NURTW chairman, MC Oluomo.
The news of his death was shared by friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry confirming the unfortunate news. He died at the age of 49.
His colleague, Odun Adekola wrote: “Jesus Christ, We lost Murphy” on his Instagram page.
Murphy Afolabi shared some adorable pictures of himself just this past Friday, celebrating his 49th birthday in style. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
